Macy’s Thanks for Sharing Program Helps Fund Afterschool Education

Macy’s continues to be an important partner for the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows and its education programs. Their contribution through the Thanks for Sharing program will help fund the afterschool education programs that benefit more than 1,000 kids every day throughout Reno, Sparks and Fernley.

Thanks for Sharing debuted as a national Macy’s initiative in 2003 – a distinctive effort from which customers benefit during the holiday season and charities benefit throughout the year. Customers join the program for $25, and in return, they receive a Reward Card valued at 10 percent of all their Macy’s credit card net purchases made during the holiday period. Plus, for each Thanks for Sharing customer enrollee, Macy’s donates $10 to great charities like the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows. Learn more at www.macys.com/thanks.
