FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where are you located? We have 12 sites in the Reno Sparks community. Please visit the Contact Us page for the site nearest you! What time are you open? Normal business hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Programming hours vary by site. Please call specific site for information. Contact Us What is there to do? There are many activities for youth to participate in, as well as adults. Arts, computer labs, homework help, sports leagues, and gamesroom activities are just a few. See the Programs & Servicespage for more information. How much does it cost? The annual membership fee to become a member is $20.00. This fee includes After School Programming at East Ninth Street, Neil Road, Sun Valley Teen Center, the Club at Hug High School, and the Club at the LDJ Community Center. It includes transportation from selected schools in the area, a nutritious meal (or snack), and safe, positive programming for the members. There are additional costs at the Before and After School Program at Rollan Melton Elementary School, Sun Valley Elementary School, Lois Allen Elementary School, Libby Booth Elementary School, Grace Warner Elementary School, and Echo Loder Elementary School, as well as in the Track Break and Summer Program. There may also be additional costs for Sports Leagues and field trips. How many members do you have? In 2008 at all locations, there were over 8,600 registered members between the ages of 6-18. Currently, there are approximately 2,000 active members of the Club. How Do I Get My Child Enrolled? Parents must first attend an orientation in order to get their child enrolled in the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows. Please call the individual sites for times of orientations.
