Holiday Help 2011
The Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows is asking for the community’s help this holiday season to accommodate the increase in number of enrollees for its annual Adopt-A-Family program. Businesses, families and others can adopt a family that is asking for assistance during these difficult economic times. We are hoping this year to match more than 100 families – 400 children – with generous community members. Adopt-A-Family wish list items range from toys and clothes to food baskets and school supplies and family sizes vary from small to large.
To adopt a family, contact Kathleen Oppio at the Boys & Girls Club at 775-331-5437 ext. 210 or koppio@bgctm.org.
Donations can also be dropped off at the Donald W. Reynolds facility at 2680 E. Ninth Street in Reno between Dec. 12-20, 2011.
