The Microsoft Licensing Charity Golf Tournament benefitting the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows is now seeking participants and hole sponsors for the fourth annual event. The tournament, which typically sells out with nearly 40 foursomes each summer, takes place Friday, Aug. 24 at Red Hawk Golf and Resort and pairs one of the region’s tech leaders with one of the community’s top non-profit agencies to benefit more than 10,000 children in Reno-Sparks. Sponsorship ranges from $200 to $3,000 and includes recognition at the event, a variety of traditional and online marketing opportunities, technology-oriented giveaways, and foursomes in the tournament, depending on the selected level.
For those who just want to have fun, individual player registration is $225 and includes an event T-shirt, breakfast, lunch, themed complimentary drink and snack stations throughout the course, and tee prizes. Foursomes offer a $25-per-player savings at $800 each, in addition to a day of fun and challenging golf on one of northern Nevada’s top courses. An exciting auction and giveaways close out the day, along with the opportunity to see Microsoft’s latest technology, and an awards ceremony for attendees.
